OPAL Neutron Beam User Instrument Survey

ANBUG recently surveyed its membership on their expected usage of the neutron scattering instruments at OPAL in 2007. In order to complete the survey it was assumed that all the neutron instruments were fully commissioned and that the planned measurements could be done at OPAL.

ANBUG also surveyed its membership for their preferences for the next wave of neutron scattering instrumentation at OPAL that will be constructed after the initial 8 neutron scattering instruments are completed. The results of the survey will allow ANBUG to provide recommendations to the Bragg Institute on the next wave of neutron scattering instrumentation that will be constructed at OPAL.

82 responses from ANBUG members were received from a total membership of approximately 332.
